Is This Love?

Jane and I should never see movies together! We always end up talking through out the whole thing and laughing at parts that are so not meant to be laughed at! We went to go see Twilight again and this time was no different. But let's be serious everyone there already saw the movie 500 times too!

You see, Jane and I watch movies differently from other people. Why focus on the main characters when the background people are the ones who need to be watched?!

So, we have come to the conclusion that the dude who plays Tyler is the real star of Twilight. This dude manages to be in background of every scene and just gives his best sexy face to the camera!

Next up is the Dominican pimp. He sits behind Edward in the only class Forks High School offers: Biology. I loved him, because in each scene he was talking to a different girl. I see ya pimpin! Jane hated him, because she claimed he had a lumpy forehead and whenever he was in the background she would go "Ugh, he goes lumpy!"

My personal favorite hero of the movie is the black guy at prom! Everyone else at prom is doing those weird hand movements that white people call dancing, while the black dude is dancing like his life depends on it. I LOVE HIM!

Lmao my friend Merima is texting me, and she asked me if Robert Pattinson looked hot in Twilight, and I'm like uhhh he looks the same as he did the last two times you saw the movie! And yes Rob totally makes me jizz in my pants!

Okay, I'm going back to bed and snuggling up with Luna.

LaLa

I rarely ever go out after work, but I'm trying to be a bit more social. So, after work I hooked up with my friend Merima, and we went to go hang out at a little Hookah lounge. It was great. I love being around an atmosphere that's just totally laid back and chill. We went to this really dark hole in the wall that I just totally fell in love with! The lights were dimmed so low, middle eastern decorations, comfy couches, and Arabic music playing lightly in the background. If it weren't for all the smoke (duh) I could have chilled there all night. :)

Oh! And the people were super friendly and gave us all our drinks and food on the house!

Dreaming With A Broken Heart

Why the heck can I never remember my freakin' password for this bloggy thing of mine?! Oh yeah... HAPPY NEW YEAR! And Happy Birthday to my little man Daniel!

Can you believe we're in 2009 already? Time flies by so fast before I know it I'll be 30. Oh God. When 2008 rolled around I wrote down (or rather typed) a list of goals that I wanted to accomplish this past year. Some I never got around to doing, but I actually managed to do a lot of it! I'm very proud of myself lol.

I'm just thinking off of the top of my head, but here's a list of things I want to do this year.

• Learn to read music and play an instrument: It's a toss up of either the guitar or the piano. Whichever comes out cheaper haha! Just kidding! I'm leaning more towards the guitar. It just seems way more badass than the piano. Plus, guitar solos make me cry. True story.
• Learn Spanish: I'm Puerto Rican, so it's probably a good idea.
• Blog more: Self explanatory.
• Have an awesome 20th birthday!: I thought my 19th birthday rocked. What could be better than getting drag queen lap dances and tattoos?! I want to top that.

That's just me thinking off the top of my head in between singing and dancing to Bob Marley. God bless my neighbors!

I'll Be Your Lover Too

Wow, I almost forgot I had a bloggy blog! Happy Holiday's love! Thanksgiving was a blasty blast and now Christmas is almost here! I've spent most of today Christmas shopping, online and in my Winnie The Pooh pajama's, duh. I did venture out into the real world and got myself an early Christmas present. The T-Mobile G1 baby! I also got one for my Mom too, but she ain't getting that 'till Xmas! The phone is pretty awesome, but the pictures freakin' suuuuck!

Alright, I thought I would have enough of an attention span to write a long entry, but I really want to go back to molesting my new phone. So, I shall leave you with visual aids.

Whoo hoo I have expirenced Twilight in motion picture form and I loved it! I am so glad that they stayed true to the book and didn't add their own Hollyweird twist. However, I do wish that there had been a little bit more romance between Edward and Bella. That part was just a little rushed. And I wish they had added the scene where Bella faints in Biology! That would have been sooo funny! Other than that I really liked the movie.

God, Robert Pattinson is so damn hot! He could have been reading the phone book for two hours for all I care! Come to Mama! Lmao okay let me shut up!

My cousin Eli threw a surprise baby shower for his wife Milly and it was so beautiful! I actually don't feel like writing anymore, so I shall leave you with some pics!

When Your Heart Stops Beating

Barack Obama is the 44th president of the United States of America. Can you believe this?! Honestly, just thinking about what this means in depth automatically starts the waterworks. I can't even begin to describe clearly how proud I am. Proud of my country, proud of my heritage, and proud of my people. Proud of every American that decided to give hope a chance.

Like I said, I can't even begin to describe how swollen my heart is with pride, love, and hope. I know it's silly, but a small part of me feels like I won too. I've never believed that as a person of color limitations existed as to what I can and can not achieve. But some people need more assurance and well now you have it! Yes we can and we did!

Now, let me tell you how my week went, because I know you're just dying to know!

Earlier this week I have succumb to peer preasure. No, no, no it's not what you think! I have give in to temptation and finally read that damn book Twilight! I bought Twilight on Monday and I just finished Eclipse. ::Sigh:: So it is save to assume that I am addicted now. When I am done with this blog I will start reading Breaking Dawn. Lord help me!

Friday

My friend Kathleen flew in from Florida for the weekend. Laura, Nicole, Kathleen and I all did lunch at one of our favorite spots, Nonna. I shouldn't be giving them a shout out, because their staff is rude, but their food is really good. It was fun, but after Kathleen polished off a bottle of wine all by herself, that was my que to leave lmao!

11- 08-08

9 years since my Aunt has passed away. Every year we go to Coney Island, my Aunt's old stomping grounds and say some prayers. We have our moment of mourning, but it's not usually a sad day. It's very rare that my brothers and I get together. My family loves to laugh and we handle grief fairly well. At least on the outside. This year my little man Aiden came along. He's the most precious little thing this earth as ever seen!

My favorite thing about Coney Island (aww, I'm going to miss it!) is the arcades! I am a beast at air hockey! Ooh man I love that freakin' game! My right arm is killing me today, because I play hard! I made my Mom record a game between Jason and I, so that I have to proof of me kicking his ass! Muwahahaha! I am trying to convince my Mom to let me replace the dining room table with an air hockey table. Wish me luck!

Just Dance!

I hope everybody had a super fun and safe Halloween! Yes, I was Batgirl and had I known that every other woman & child was going to be Batgirl too, I wouldn't have chose it! But it was a fun costume. I was loving my cape! I wish I could wear cape's on the regular and not have people look at me like I'm crazy!

I went with my friends Alcides and Nicole to the Village Halloween parade. I went last year and I just effin love it! We had a lot of fun, but we were missing Janey Pooh! ;)
