Take Control

Since I am now sort of self-employed I have more time to do the things I thought I was going to be able to do once I got a job. Not the case. My Ex-boss wanted so much our time and nobody was willing to give it to her except for me. The other girls set boundaries and I never did. I spent a lot of time with the boss and she would complain that the others were being "difficult." I didn't want to come off as difficult so I just did as I was told. Big mistake on my part. Since I was the boss' little puppeteer who never said no it was alway's big drama when I actually did say no.

I am so happy that I am no longer working for them anymore, but I still see them everyday. I hate having to do the fake smile and small talk bullshit. Neither of us have anything to say to each other, so what's the point? Actually, I have a lot that I would like to say to them haha, but I am not. Several people have commented on my composure and maturity that I display when I do have to do the bullshit small talk. Thanks!

Anyway, now I actually have some time during the day to spend with my unofficial Goddaughter. Earlier this week I had a HUGE gap in my day, so I took Niya to a playground in Central Park. Then yesterday I went over to my friend Nicole's house and we baked cupcakes and cookies. I don't have a big sweet tooth at all, but I loooove to eat cake batter. Oh man I freakin' love it! Too bad I got SUPER sick yesterday after eating all of it. Blah I'm getting dizzy just thinking about it.

Damn it. I wanted to write more, but I really want to go outside. I hate being in the house. I'll try and update later this weekend.
